Our Puppy Raise & Train will help you through the most challenging parts of bringing a new puppy home.
Training your malinois is critical to having a well-rounded sport or working dog. If you don’t take the time to train your puppy correctly in the early stages, you will have consequences to deal with later on in your dog’s life. Many people don’t have the time to train a young puppy properly. The puppy then develops bad habits that become very difficult to control when the puppy is an adult.
Our Puppy Raise & Train program is a new program that gives you and your companion the head start you need for a long and lasting relationship. This program is for the puppies we have bred; training begins at 8 weeks. In this program, they are raised like the puppies we keep for ourselves.

At Endeavour K9, the puppies in the Raise & Train program live with the trainers 24/7 for your chosen program. This gives the puppy the best start because they live in an environment mimicking real life. They are under the direction of a professional who understands dog behaviour and training.
The raise-and-train program can help you overcome the most challenging part of adjusting to life with a puppy. Developed in response to the new CDC regulation,” The fee includes board, training, vaccines, food, and vet care.
Cross-Border Puppy Ownership
Effective August 1, 2024, the CDC requires all dogs entering or returning to the U.S. from Canada to meet specific health and identification standards.
Unfortunately, space is limited, so it is recommended that you reserve your space as soon as you know you will be getting your puppy.

- 3Have an ISO-compatible microchip implanted for identification purposes, and
- 4Be accompanied by an online submission receipt for the CDC Dog Import Form.

Raise & Train Program
There isn’t anything much cuter than a puppy, but cute may not be much comfort at 2 a.m. when your newest family member is screaming in his crate, and you have to take them outside in the winter in your PJs, and you have to be at work in a few hours.
Chewing, soiling on carpets, chasing them around, finding out what is in their mouth, and multiple potty breaks throughout the day are common issues with new puppies.
During their time with us, we will (depending on your program) introduce:
- How to actively engage with their owners
- How to quickly and reliably return when called even with distractions
- Learn what are and what are not appropriate chew items.
- Learn not to bite or nip people
- How to greet and respect guests and strangers
- How to relax while in the house
- How to be obedient and attentive to their owners in a variety of situations
- Crate training
- Body Handling, grooming
- Be exposed to new people, places and things
- Learn basic house manners and boundaries
- Gain an understanding of commands, such as “sit,” “down,” “come,” “go to bed”, and walking on a leash.
- Foot targets, rear-end awareness and boxwork
- And much more!
Any puppies not sold by 8 weeks will start this program. They will be taught commands in German with IGP foundations. Including protection and tracking (weather permitting)

Your puppy will learn our basic communication system verbally and/or clicker, setting them up for success in all your future training. In most puppies, we can effectively curb biting and nipping. Plus, understand basic commands better: sit, down, come when called, go to bed, and wait at doorways. Puppies in this program will socialize with other puppies and appropriate adult dogs —a great start to your future training goals.

Duration of Program: 4 weeks

Duration of Program: 8 weeks
This is for busy owners who want a well-trained dog but do not have the time to devote to the critical and early stages of socialization and training or who are unable to get their puppy due to the new CDC regulations.
Typically, puppies in this program start at 8 weeks old and will graduate at 6 months old with a strong understanding of all obedience commands. Most puppies graduating from this program will be ideal Canine good citizens with the ability for owners to take their well-trained pooch to all dog-friendly places. Spots for this program are minimal. For sport dog clients, we will discuss what training will be done specific to your chosen sport and discuss your puppy’s potential for future success.
