Purpose-Bred Belgian Malinois • Working Lines • CKC Registered
West Montrose, Ontario

“Endeavour” means to strive with purpose — and that philosophy defines our breeding program.

Endeavour Malinois is a small, selective Belgian Malinois breeder in Ontario dedicated to producing dogs that exemplify health, structural soundness, stable temperament, and true working ability. Our focus is quality over quantity. Each litter is intentionally planned with the mindset of keeping a puppy ourselves, ensuring every pairing meets strict standards for health testing, genetic diversity, working drive, and clear-headed temperament.

Purpose-Bred Working-Line Belgian Malinois

We proudly raise purebred, CKC-registered Belgian Malinois from imported and proven European working lines. Every breeding is thoughtfully designed to produce puppies that are:

  • Mentally stable and environmentally sound
  • Clear-headed under pressure
  • Highly trainable with balanced drives
  • Suitable for sport, working, or experienced active homes

Our program emphasizes preservation breeding — maintaining the integrity, versatility, and functional structure of the Belgian Malinois while supporting long-term health and performance longevity.

What Our Puppies Receive

Each Belgian Malinois puppy from Endeavour Malinois includes:

  • Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) Registration under the Endeavour prefix
(sold on a non-breeding agreement unless otherwise approved)
  • 30 days of complimentary Trupanion pet insurance
  • Microchip identification
  • Age-appropriate vaccinations
  • Completed deworming protocol
  • Full veterinary health examination
  • Placement readiness at 9 weeks of age or later

Puppies remaining beyond 9 weeks continue structured training, socialization, and development. Additional vaccinations or evaluations may be completed, and pricing will be adjusted accordingly to reflect the additional care and training provided.

Our Commitment to the Belgian Malinois

We are dedicated to preserving the Belgian Malinois as a true working breed. All dogs in our breeding program are:

  • Fully health-tested beyond minimum breed standards
  • Titled, evaluated, or proven in sport or working disciplines
  • Selected for stable temperament, structural correctness, and trainability
  • Chosen with long-term genetic health and breed integrity in mind

Our goal is to produce working-line Belgian Malinois in Canada that demonstrate strong nerves, correct conformation, balanced drives, and dependable temperaments — dogs capable of excelling in performance environments while remaining reliable companions in structured homes.

Endeavour Malinois

Our Philosophy

What Sets Us Apart

At Endeavour Malinois, we breed with intention — not volume. Every pairing is thoughtfully selected to a clear objective: to produce our next personal competition and working prospect. As a result, our litters are limited, purpose-bred, and guided by a long-term commitment to excellence in the Belgian Malinois breed.

We believe transparency is essential to responsible breeding. Just as we value honesty and detailed information when choosing our own dogs, we extend the same openness and communication to our puppy families. From research and health testing to pedigree, temperament evaluation, and placement decisions, our process is built on clarity and accountability.

We do not simply produce puppies; we develop working-line Belgian Malinois partners — dogs bred for performance, stability, and reliability. Our goal is to produce capable sporting and working prospects, loyal companions for experienced homes, and future competitors that embody the breed’s strength, versatility, and integrity.

Health & Temperament First

We only breed titled, health-tested working-line Belgian Malinois with stable, clear-minded temperaments and strong drive.

Purposeful Pairing

We breed selectively to preserve the health of our females and maintain the highest standards in structure, working ability, and character.

Raising Our Own

Our females are raised and trained by us. We take pride in their accomplishments and the work we’ve invested in their development.

Puppy Culture Protocol

From Birth, our puppies are raised using Puppy Culture Protocol, setting them up for success in any environment or discipline.

Honesty, Integrity, Professionalism

We uphold these values in everything we do – from first contact to the lifelong support we offer our puppy buyers.

We do not sell to pet homes, nor do we place dogs as service animals, emotional support dogs, or personal protection dogs.

Raising Confident, Well-Adjusted Malinois

All litters are raised using Puppy Culture protocols, with a focus on socialization and developmental support. Each puppy is exposed to a variety of environments and handled daily to ensure they grow into confident, well-adjusted working dogs.

We appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm for getting a puppy from us!

If you’re interested, please start by filling out our puppy inquiry form—the first step in our screening process.

Neila had a litter on March 9, 2025, and we currently have one male puppy available.

We carefully select homes that are already actively training and/or competing in venues such as:

  • IGP and protection sports
  • Search and rescue
  • Agility
  • Detection work
  • Police work
  • Competitive obedience

About Shanna

Shanna has been living and working with Belgian Malinois since 2012. Over the years, she has competed in IGP with multiple dogs, including Sakada and Traya, who are now retired, and she is currently competing with Kinna and Neila. She is also bringing up her promising young prospect, Amarah.

Her professional dog training career began in 2010, and since 2016, she has consistently been recognized as one of the top three dog trainers in Waterloo Region. She also spent two years as a professional puppy raiser for another breeder before choosing to dedicate her time to her own dogs and program.

Shanna has whelped and raised litters that have gone on to excel in search and rescue, detection, police work, agility, protection sports, and active companion homes. Today, her focus is on IGP and developing her own carefully curated breeding program, built on imported European foundation dogs selected for health, structure, working ability, and temperament.

At Endeavour Malinois, Shanna’s mission is to produce capable, versatile Malinois that excel in both work and sport, while preserving the integrity of the breed for generations to come.
